چکیده

In the past few decades the control circuitry was conventionally built from logic hardware and discrete components with inherent limitations of low processing power. Advances in microprocessors, microcontrollers, and microcomputers have made tremendous impact on electric motor drives. It has enabled implementation of sophisticated and complex control techniques. Conventional vector control scheme uses a unit vector to achieve an accurate transformation so that the flux producing current component aligns with the rotor magnetic flux. It also uses the mathematical model of the induction motor in which the rotor parameters, rotor resistance and rotor inductance, plays a very important role. However, both parameters vary with operating conditions or environmental factors therefore it is difficult for conventional vector drive to maintain consistent performance under all operating conditions due to machine parameter variations. The Intelligent control techniques like, fuzzy logic control / Neural network control uses heuristic input-output relations to deal with vague and complex situations. This paper presents a literature survey on the microprocessor /Digital and Intelligent control techniques for vector of induction motor drive. Various vector control techniques based on microprocessor /digital control, control are described. Attempt is made to provide a guideline and quick reference for the researchers and practicing engineers those are working in the area of vector control.

Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation with Reduced Common Mode Voltage and Current Losses for Six-Phase Induction Motor Drive with Three-Level Inverter

Common-mode voltage (CMV) generated by the inverter causes motor bearing failures in multiphase drives. On the other hand, presence of undesired z-component currents in six-phase induction machine (SPIM) leads to extra current losses and have to be considered in pulse width modulation (PWM) techniques. In this paper, it is shown that the presence of z-component currents and CMV in six phase driv...
